The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards 2025 honours the best and the boldest of daytime television. From soap operas with drama to culinary TV shows, these awards were hosted at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, California, in the early hours of Saturday. Hosted by Mario Lopez, famously known for his talk show, Access Hollywood.

This year, the nominations were led by The Young and the Resless with 19 mentions. General Hospital, also the winner of the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series title, bagged 16 nominations, while Days of Our Lives achieved 13. Hollywood’s favourite rom-com actress, Drew Barrymore got 9, and Kelly Clarkson received 8. Sir David Attenborough, writer and naturalist, became the oldest Daytime Emmy awardee at the age of 99. He won the  Outstanding daytime personality – Non-Daily for Netflix’s Secret Lives of Orangutans, beating Dick Ban Dyke’s record.
