She shared her RIAA recognition with fans, teasing that her Little Miss Drama tour was about to kick off at TD Coliseum.

But Nicki Minaj, never one to miss an opportunity for a flex, took to Twitter with a cryptic message, re-sharing a post that boasted her status as the only female rapper this decade to have an album cross 200k units in its first week.
The shading didn’t stop there. Nicki’s tweet seemed to be a direct jab at Cardi, although in classic Nicki fashion, it was delivered with a little extra flair leading Cardi to clap back almost immediately.
With no time wasted, Cardi went full throttle, reminding Nicki that she has been in the game for 16 years and should be comparing herself to other established stars like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Drake not her.
“I was in high school when you came out,” Cardi tweeted, making it clear that Nicki’s attempts to compete with her felt out of place given their generational gap.

Netizens were quick to assume that this was a dig at Cardi’s album cover, which prominently features a crow perched on Cardi’s heels.
Fans were quick to label Nicki’s eagle as “big bird energy,” signaling that the Queen Barbz were gearing up to go after Cardi’s crow, symbolising a battle between two fierce rivals.
Cardi didn’t let this slide. She responded with tweets that raised the stakes, taking direct shots at Nicki, even throwing out the phrase “make these btches come out of rehab every time.”
The shots kept firing, Cardi referenced Nicki’s rumoured substance abuse past, calling her “Cocaine Barbie,” while Nicki hit back with barbs about surgeries and “Rico beefs,”an obvious reference to the ongoing legal drama surrounding both their names.
