Hot on the heels of BTS‘ 12th anniversary and the near-full-group reunion, J-Hope stepped up to the occasion, teasing fans of the boy group’s upcoming plans. While the ‘Hope World’ icon completed his mandatory military obligations last year, the majority of the K-pop band is only returning to the music scene this month.

The excitement of RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook having returned less than a week ago and Suga’s comeback slated for June 21 ultimately translated into skyrocketing stock prices for their agency. Meanwhile, J-Hope has been “Killin’ It Girl” on the sidelines with his undeniable solo career until the group members become one.

His recent admission had now signalled even better days for BTS’ label financially, as the highly-awaited group album will be here before you know it. That’s not all. A brand-new album automatically beckons a world tour, and now, J-Hope has confirmed that a musical concert series is, in fact, in the works.

BTS’ JHope confirms full-group comeback and world tour are in the works

Coming on as a guest star on the fan-favourite variety show, Point of Omniscient Interfere, the BTS member not only opened up about his military stint experience, but also what the group’s much-anticipated reunion would look like. The “Killin It Girl” hit-maker confessed that he had mixed feelings following the completion of his military duties. On one end, he worried if the septet would be able to conjure up the same chemistry on returning to their full-out BTS roots as the Avengers of K-pop assemble for the first time since they announced a hiatus in 2022.

Feeling “anxious and excited” simultaneously, he further disclosed the post-BTS-reunion plans. “We’re planning to prepare an album as quickly as possible,” he said, according to an English translation of the video on X. “And after all, BTS is about performance/concerts, we’re also getting ready for a world tour.”

As soon as he dropped the happy-bomb on the fans during his variety episode appearance, fans couldn’t stop their feelings from exploding online. “BTS world tour 2026???” a fan exclaimed on X, noting that it was time for the BTS ARMYs to get their savings in check.

“OMG IT’S OFFICIAL NOW!!! (we already knew, but this hits different now that 6/7 are free,” said another BTS ARMY. A third added, “A WORLD TOUR??? BTS IS BACK AND THE WHOLE INTERNET IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE. WE’RE NOT READY BUT WE’RE SO READY!!! LET’S GOOOOO.”

It’s true that the members have endlessly been dropping hints about the commencement of a new BTS era ever since they announced their extended break. But now that the BTS reunion is closer than ever, fans can’t contain their excitement after a prolonged period of wistful patience.

Despite J-Hope not fully disclosing details of the comeback and the world tour, K-pop lovers have declared him the “new Tom Holland of BTS” owing to his spoiler-dropping tendencies. Substantiating his claims, HYBE previously conveyed that a full-group comeback is likely to make waves in the music world in final quarter of this year or early 2026.
