Asia Star Entertainer Awards Day 2: Launched by Newsen and @star1 magazine last year, the ASEA ceremony returned for the second round in 2025. With the first day majorly restricting itself to honouring K-pop idols and other Asian musicians, the Day 2 of the evening hosted in Japan went on to celebrated talents across the drama industry as well.
Kim Hye Yoon of hit drama Lovely Runner fame, MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and THE BOYZ’s Younghoon graced the stage at Yokohama’s K-Arena as the main hosts of the Asia Star Entertainer Awards Day 2. The record-breaking 2024 tvN time-slip drama starring Hye Yoon and breakout star Byeon Woo Seok especially led the way as a significant winner of the night , winning trophies across categories like Fan Choice Character, Fan Choice Artist (Actor and Actress), Best OST and Best Artist (Actor and Actress).
BTS’s Jin and Byeon Woo Seok shared the Best OST award for their contributions to K-dramas When the Stars Gossip and Lovely Runner, respectively. On the music side, i-dle (formerly (G)I-DLE) swept the winning roster by grabbing three major titles, including Daesang Record of the Year, The Platinum and Global K-pop Leader. ZEROBASEONE followed suit with Performance of the Year and The Platinum honours.
