The legendary K-pop powerhouse BLACKPINK is finally poised to make their grand return after a three-year hiatus. Fans are counting down the days, ready to erupt in cheers for their beloved girl gang as they reclaim the global stage.

Following the announcement of their DEADLINE World Tour, the group reportedly started working on new music. YG Entertainment is said to have confirmed that filming for the music video began on June 6, briefly exciting the fans and creating buzz for a potential July comeback.

On June 19, K-media outlet JTBC cited industry insiders, saying that BLACKPINK’s new single would be released in early July. A representative of YG Entertainment then stepped up to respond to the claims of BLACKPINK’s July comeback.

“We will notify you through the group’s official promotion schedule,” the company briefly addressed the issue.

Among the murmurs of the new song release, BLACKPINK’s 2025 world tour ‘Deadline‘ kicks off at Goyang Stadium in South Korea from July 5-6.

BLACKPINK Comeback 2025

Fans have been eagerly waiting to book their tickets for the band’s much-anticipated comeback tour ever since the poster dropped in May. Fuelling the excitement further was BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s subtle hint about the reunion and something new in the works.

The group’s last tour took place in September 2022. After the BLACKPINK era came to a close, each member branched out into solo projects — exploring music, fashion, acting, and collaborations with global brands.

In a recent interview, Jisoo opened up about the group’s possible reunion. She shared her excitement, saying, “I’m really looking forward to it, and I’m thrilled. We’ve missed the cheers of BLINK so much.” She also teased the anticipated comeback, adding, “We’re preparing something amazing so we can hear them even louder this time.”

In another interview, BLACKPINK’s Lisa revealed that she, along with Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé, had been in the studio to record something. She shared, “Actually, we were in the studio just a few days ago. We’re all so super excited to get back together and go on to tour. We really miss the Blinks. We can’t wait to see them.”

This upcoming tour will mark BLACKPINK’s first full-group comeback in nearly three years.

The K-pop quartet of Jennie, Rosie, Jisoo and Lisa is all set to reunite in July for the ‘Deadline’ World Tour nearly at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. The Goyang concerts will feature BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE World Tour, with 31 performances in 16 cities including Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Paris, Milan, and Barcelona, it concludes on January 25, 2026.

The Lack of promotions

The iconic BLACKPINK comeback has remained in the spotlight ever since their last project, Born Pink. While fans are buzzing with excitement over the group’s return, speculation continues to swirl. Many have voiced concerns about the lack of details and the underwhelming promotion efforts.

A fan took to X and wrote, “Something must be going on in that YG building cause….Blackpink tour in 17 days and no teasers for the group comeback ?”

Another user said, “BLACKPINK, the biggest girl group in the world, hasn’t had any songs in over a THOUSAND days. YGE, listen… their tour begins in just two weeks, we need a teaser for new music, stop sabotaging your moneymaker!”

A Global fanbase account commented, “BLINKs have waited for 3 long years. We deserve clarity and fair treatment. It’s time to give us the BLACKPINK comeback dates. No more silence.”
