Comedian and television host Bharti Singh and writer-producer Haarsh Limbachiyaa welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on December 19. The couple shared the happy news with fans on social media and also gave a glimpse into Bharti’s delivery experience through their YouTube vlog.
Bharti recalls the early morning labour scare
Bharti revealed that she went into labour early in the morning after her water broke at home. In a video shot just before she was rushed to the hospital, she described how everything happened suddenly around 6 am. In the vlog, Bharti said she immediately called her doctor, who informed her that her water bag had burst and advised her to come to the hospital without delay. She admitted she felt scared and overwhelmed, especially since she had been preparing her hospital bag only the previous night.
‘I was scared and didn’t understand what was happening’
In the vlog, Bharti was seen visibly anxious and emotional as she packed her belongings and got ready to leave. She said she was unable to understand what was happening and had woken up everyone in the house. Bharti shared that she had been feeling uneasy since the night before but did not realise she was about to go into labour. By morning, she said she was shivering, with her clothes and bedsheet soaked, as the family prepared to head to the hospital.
“I don’t know what will happen next to me or Haarsh. I just wanted to share my feelings with you. Please pray that everything is fine,” Bharti said in the video.
Haarsh rushes Bharti to hospital with elder son
The clip also showed Haarsh rushing Bharti to the hospital, with their elder son Lakshya, fondly known as Gola, accompanying them. Haarsh later shared that he too was nervous but felt relieved that the situation unfolded early in the morning, as it helped them avoid traffic on the way to the hospital. He added that the timely arrival made things easier during an already stressful moment.
Couple confirms birth of healthy baby boy
After the delivery, the couple confirmed that they were blessed with a healthy baby boy. They thanked fans and well-wishers for the love and prayers they received. Haarsh took to Instagram to officially announce the birth, writing, “Limbachiya and sons again its a boy,” in his caption.
Second child after three years
The newborn is the latest addition to the Limbachiyaa family and arrives nearly three years after the birth of their first son, Gola. A few months ago, Bharti and Haarsh had announced their second pregnancy through an adorable post on social media, which was warmly received by fans.
