The 36th GLAAD Media Awards returned for its annual honorary role, handing out accolades to well-deserving media front-runners on Thursday night in Los Angeles. Instead of following the usual pattern of the ceremony split between LA and NYC venues at different dates, this year’s event saw all 33 winning categories being announced at the former venue.
Fan-favourite TV shows like Marvel Entertainment‘s Agatha All Along, Netflix‘s Heartstopper and Baby Reindeer, Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star and more led the way at the GLAAD Media Awards. The 36th showcase of the annual ceremony honoured Wicked star Cynthia Erivo with the Stephen F Kolzak award. Meanwhile, viral and breakout music star Doechii took home the Outstanding Music Artist win.
On the reality TV front, Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City and MTV’s RuPaul’s Drag Race emerged as big GLAAD Media Awards winners. With Shrinking actor Michael Urie as the night’s host, here are all the big names that shone bright as Madame Luck blessed them with glorious victories.
