Jaya Bachchan is infamously known for her paparazzi interactions, while Big B is often considered the calm one. However, amid the Dharmendra debacle and the breach of his privacy, several Bollywood personalities have condemned the act. As the accused has been arrested after he filmed the veteran actor in the ICU, Bachchan issued a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter).

“T 5564 – no ethics .. no ethics at all,” the Bollywood legend wrote just hours after his co-star was filmed without his consent. On his blog, he wrote, “No ethics .. no sense of responsibility .. just an avenue of personal gain, without any consideration of the moment ..Disturbing and disgusting …” While there was no overt mention of the Dharmendra incident, the Internet was quick to point out the incident. Hours after the ill-fated video made rounds on social media, Jaya Bachchan was seen schooling the photographers. She asserted, “Chup raho, muh band rakh, photo lo [Stay quiet, shut your mouth, click photographs.]”

Internet reacts

“To find ‘no ethics’ at 4:14 AM, Sir, implies the problem is an exceptionally early riser. Or perhaps, the day’s moral compass simply hasn’t woken up yet. A very T 5564 observation,” wrote a user replying to Bachchan’s post, which was a reported target on the media.

Several users called out his wife’s usual behaviour in front of cameras and condemned him for lashing out at the media. And others agreed to the overall lack of empathy in media, simply chasing views. “No ethics, no shame, no accountability. It’s disgusting,” wrote a review.

This came after Sunny Deol lost his cool on the paparazzi stationed outside his Mumbai residence yesterday. Looking visibly upset, Deol shouted at the photographers and said, ‘Aapko sharam nahi aati? [Aren’t you ashamed?]”. Onlookers and netizens claimed that it came after the constant intrusion into the privacy by the photographers as he spent a lot of time with his ailing father.

Dharmendra health update

The ‘Sholay’ actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after facing acute breathing problems. But worry struck when fake media reports claimed that he had passed away, sparking a reaction from the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh himself. Following the panic-struck condition, Dharmendra’s wife and daughter, Hema Malini and Esha Deol, lashed out and confirmed that he was indeed ‘stable and recovering’.

Just a day after this media mishap, Dharmendra was discharged as his sons, Bobby and Sunny, escorted him to his residence. Several Bollywood personalities, including Shah Rukh Khan, came to visit the star while he was still in the hospital.
