Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ has not only created a historical box office collections record but the reach of the film seems to stretch beyond the boundaries of India. Apparently superstar Aamir Khan got an opportunity to take ‘PK’ movie to the renowned Harvard University.
‘PK’ box office collections box office collections now stand at a massive Rs 648+ crore gross worldwide and likely to be more with the movie still running in theatres. In fact, ‘PK’ is set ti release in China across a record 3,500+ screens. The movie has grossed over Rs 480 crore in the domestic box office (with Rs 340 crore from net collections) and minting nearly Rs 160 crore from overseas market.
The Harvard Business School has invited him to come and chat with them about the making of ‘PK’. Apparently, his unconventional look and performance in the film has really impressed the Harvard authorities who are now keen on discussing his role in the film at great length. The actor will be discussing various attributes of his character ‘PK’, which also includes the preparation he underwent for the role. Though a date hasn’t been finalized for this, the actor has assured that he will be visiting the Business school soon.
Aamir Khan played the role of a quirky and curious ‘alien’ who arrives on earth, and sets out on a journey as he discovers the rules of earth that forces individuals to question their ideology on humanity.
The film also faced severe censorship from certain sections of society who felt offended by it and at the same time, the government of certain states in India went on to make the film tax free.
