The 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon (SBS 가요대전) is just one day away. Lighting up Christmas cheer at the Inspire Arena, a new trio of main hosts will be heading the MC duties.

Although IVE’s AN Yujin remains a constant, NCT’s Jaemin and DAY6’s Young K will replace her previous stage partners Doyoung of NCT and TXT’s Yeonjun, who hosted Gayo Daejeon’s Summer edition as well. Yujin, in particular, now holds a record of being picked as the show’s MC six times in a row, with the streak kicking off in 2022.

In addition to the SBS Gayo Daejeon celebration, the Seoul Broadcasting System’s two other year-end shows (SBS Entertainment Awards and SBS Drama Awards) are already generating massive anticipatory buzz. While the music festival is set for tomorrow, the SBS Entertainment Awards will be aired on December 30, and the SBS Drama Awards will be broadcast on December 31.

When and where to watch SBS Gayo Daejeon 2025?

2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon lineup and performances

Although the full lineup for the Christmas concert was announced early on, NCT’s leader Taeyong was eventually included to the scheduled roster. This will mark the K-pop icon’s first stage performance following the recent conclusion of his mandatory military stint.

On the flip side, SHINee’s Key, who was originally meant to perform at the music festival, has now been excluded from the lineup. In the wake of his name being dragged into the ‘injection auntie’ controversy, primarily allegedly involving comedian Park Na Rae, Key announced his departure from several scheduled programs. One of those ended up being the SBS Gayo Daejeon itself.

2025 Gayo Daejeon collab performances

Earlier this month, SBS Gayo Daejeon announced that TXT’s Yeonjun and KATSEYE’s will be coming together for a special “Let Me Tell You” performance. Similarly, BOYNEXTDOOR’s Woonhak and ILLIT’s Wonhee will be another co-ed stage for the day.

Meanwhile, THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo, TREASURE’s Haruto and ALLDAY PROJECT’s Woochan will take on the roles of “rapper boyfriends” to cast their musical spell on fans.

The Christmas music festival will see LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae, NMIXX’s Kyujin and IVE’s Leeseo joining forces for a special “maknae” collaboration. On the other side, boy group members TXT’s Huening Kai, ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao, RIIZE’s Sohee and TWS’ Shinyu will be sharing the stage as a one-off team-up.

Rookie idol group NCT WISH went viral for their SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer cover performances earlier this year. The youngest NCT sub-unit’s members will be presenting a special three-part performance on X-mas Day as well.
