The social media was recently abuzz with claims that the Uttar Pradesh constable examination 2024 question paper had been leaked.
Since Saturday evening, numerous social media users claimed that the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam paper has been leaked. Additionally, several screenshots supporting these claims were circulated.
Was the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam paper leaked?
Amid the rising claims that the paper had been leaked, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board took to X, formerly Twitter, to rebut the claims and say that the news about the leak was false. It said that a preliminary probe showed that certain miscreants were making false claims using Telegram’s edit facility. “Board and UP Police [are] monitoring these incidents and thoroughly investigating their sources. The examination is continuing safely and smoothly,” it added.
Earlier, the UP Police had arrested 122 people over three days for engaging in “fraudulent activities” related to the state police constable recruitment examination.
A total of 48 lakh candidates were slated to participate in the examination, which aims to fill 60,244 police constable positions. Across the 75 districts of the state, a comprehensive network of 2,378 examination centers was established for this purpose.
