SSC CGL 2018 notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in an important notice has released the reexamination date for Combined Graduate Level Tier-II Exam at ssc.nic.in. The Commission in the notice has stated how the Paper-I of the CHSL Tier II exam i.e. Quantitative Ability is to be re-conducted due to some technical glitches that took place on the day of the exam. The Tier-II Examination of was scheduled to take place from February 17, 2018 to February 22, 2018 cross various centres in the country. The notice adds that due to incomplete downloading of data on account of some technical reasons, the examination was delayed and candidates faced inconveniences.
It further adds, “The Commission after detailed consultations with all its 09 Regional / Sub-Regional Offices and based on the inputs provided by them and also representations received from some candidates, the Commission has taken a considered decision in the interest of the candidates, to re-conduct Paper-I i.e. Quantitative Ability, on 9.3.2018 at 10.30 AM. The details of the venue of the examination will be uploaded on the respective regional websites. It may, however, be noted that the re-examination would be conducted for only those
candidates who had actually appeared for Paper-I Examination on 21.2.2018 at their designated venues of examination.”
It further states that the exam will be reconducted for Paper-I as well as Paper-II, at one venue in Patna i.e. Cyber City on the same day.

SSC conducts the Combined Graduate Level examination every year for recruitment under the Commission. On the basis of this recruitment examination (Tier I), candidates are provisionally qualified for Tier-II and Tier-III.
