Jamia Millia Islamia postpones 2024 entrance exams – Check new schedule here

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has opted to postpone its entrance examinations for the upcoming 2024 academic session. According to a report by ANI, the revised schedule pushes the exams to a later date, post the Lok Sabha elections.

The new timetable indicates that the university will conduct the entrance examinations on June 9, 10, and 11 for admissions into its various PG programmes, including MA, MCA, B.Ed, and MBA. The exams were previously slated for May 24, 25, and 26 which were clashing with the General Elections schedule released by the Election Commission of India.

The official notice regarding the rescheduling of the university’s Entrance Test states, “In light of the announcement of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 dates by the Chief Election Commissioner of India, the following Entrance Test of the University has been rescheduled.”
