GATE Answer Key 2024: The results for GATE 2024 are set to be declared tomorrow by IISc Bengaluru on March 16, 2024. Candidates can access their results online through the GOAPS login portal at gate2024.iisc.ac.in

However, it is important to note that IISc Bengaluru will only release GATE 2024 scorecards for qualified candidates, which will be available for downloading starting from March 23, 2024.

The validity of GATE 2024 scores for M.Tech admissions extends to three years from the date of result declaration.

The actual marks obtained by candidates will be considered for calculating the GATE score after answer evaluation. For multi-session test papers, raw marks obtained in different sessions will be converted to normalised marks for that specific test paper.

Consequently, either raw marks (for single session papers) or normalised marks (for multi-session test papers) will be used to calculate the GATE score based on the qualifying marks.

GATE exam stands as one of India’s most competitive entrance exams, with only 16-18% of the approximately nine lakh registered applicants qualifying each year.

Those securing ranks below 200 have the chance for admission to one of the IITs, while others can seek admission in other leading M.Tech colleges, including NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

Further, the IIT Kanpur has announced the dates for GATE COAP 2024. COAP 2024 registration will commence on March 18, 2024. Interested candidates seeking admissions to IITs must register for COAP at iitk.ac.in/coap2024, with offers becoming available from May 13.

Also, Dates for GATE CCMT 2024 will be announced soon. Candidates aspiring for admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs are required to register for CCMT 2024 to complete the centralised counselling process.

This year, GATE 2024 has witnessed a 25% increase in registrations compared to the previous year, indicating not only heightened competition but also potentially more opportunities in PSUs.
