The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the examination schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. In an official notice issued on December 29, the board has postponed all papers that were earlier slated to be held on March 3, 2026. The board said the change has been made for administrative reasons and clarified that no other dates in the timetable have been altered.

According to the official notification, only examinations scheduled for March 3 have been rescheduled. All remaining papers for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be conducted as per the original datesheet.

Datesheets being updated

The board has informed schools that the datesheets are being updated accordingly. CBSE also said the revised examination dates will be reflected on students’ admit cards once they are issued.

Schools have been directed to communicate the revised schedule to students and parents at the earliest to avoid confusion and help candidates plan their preparation smoothly. CBSE advised students to rely only on official notifications for updates and assured that no further changes have been made to the board examination timetable.
