Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University has initiated the ACAT (Amrita Common Aptitude Test) for MBA 2024 admissions. Registration for this nationwide entrance examination for the Amrita School of Business, offering MBA Programs across its campuses in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Kochi, will commence on September 27th and will close on December 31st, 2023, according to an official release.

The entrance test, a computer-based assessment, will take place in 40 centres across the country. Eligible applicants must hold an undergraduate (UG) degree (following the 10+2+3 pattern) recognised by AIU (Association of Indian Universities), with a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10th, 12th and UG. Students in their final year can also apply, contingent upon the completion of their exams and viva-voce, if any, prior to June 30th, 2024, the release mentioned.

The examination, spanning 150 minutes, carries a total of 100 marks (three marks awarded for correct answers and a deduction of one mark for incorrect responses). It consists of 25 questions in each of the four sections: verbal reasoning & language comprehension, data interpretation and analysis, general knowledge of Indian and global scenarios and quantitative aptitude, as per the release.
