The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) announced the Madhyamik Result 2025 on May 2 at 9 AM through a press conference. Students can access their scorecards online starting from 9:45 AM.
This year, over 9.8 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams, conducted between February 10 and 22. Results are available on the official websites — wbresults.nic.in, wbbse.wb.gov.in, and via mobile apps like iresults.net/wbbse-app.
Girls made up a larger share of the candidates, with a ratio of 1,213 girls for every 1,000 boys. Among regular candidates, the overall pass percentage for girls stood at 84.39%.
Topper Adrita Sarkar aims to become a doctor
Adrita Sarkar from Raiganj Coronation High School, Uttar Dinajpur, emerged as the state topper with an outstanding score of 696 out of 700 — a percentage of 99.43%.
Adrita, who now aspires to pursue a career in medicine, credited her success to consistent study habits rather than last-minute preparation. She studied around 8 to 10 hours daily and emphasized that regularity is more important than following a rigid timetable. “There’s no real benefit in sticking to a strict schedule. What matters is starting early and staying consistent,” she shared with the media.
