UPSC CMS Exam Result Declared at upsc.gov.in: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2025, bringing relief and clarity to those medical graduates, who appeared for the recruitment process. Candidates can now access the result PDF on the Commission’s official website, upsc.gov.in.

The CMS Examination 2025 was conducted on July 20, 2025, followed by the Personality Test (Part II) held between October and December 2025. Based on performance across both stages, UPSC has recommended candidates for appointment to various medical posts under the Central Government and allied bodies.

Category I appointments and category-wise breakup

In Category I, which covers the Medical Officers Grade in the General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of the Central Health Service, a total of 363 candidates have been recommended for appointment. Among them, 162 candidates belong to the General category, including nine persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).

The Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) account for 43 candidates, while Other Backwards Classes (OBC) candidates include 75 candidates along with two PwBD candidates. The Scheduled Caste (SC) category has 57 candidates, including one PwBD, and the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category includes 21 candidates along with two PwBD candidates.

Category II selections and posts on offer

For Category II, UPSC has recommended 449 candidates for appointment. Of these, 182 candidates (including 10 PwBD) are from the General category. The EWS category has 49 candidates along with one PwBD, while the OBC category includes 113 candidates and six PwBD candidates.

The Scheduled Castes (SC) account for 70 candidates including one PwBD, and 27 candidates have been selected from the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category.

Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways

General Duty Medical Officer in the New Delhi Municipal Council

General Duty Medical Officer Grade II in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi
