UP NEET 2017: The result of the second round of counseling of the dental and medical admissions based on the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) have been released by the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) of Uttar Pradesh. The results of the counseling have been made available on the website upneet.gov.in. The counseling notification had been released by the DGME on August 16. The results of the counseling were supposed to be released on August 19, as per the notification but got delayed and were declared later. Students, who wish to check their Round 2 counseling results can log on to the official website of the UP NEET, upneet.gov.in.
DGME, is an organ which functions directly under the state government. The primary function of the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training is to run and strengthen institutions of medical teaching such as medical and dental colleges along with institutions which provide medical and paramedical diploma, degree, post graduate and super specialty programs in the state, according to an NDTV report.
Follow the steps below to check your UP NEET 2017 Round 2 Counselling Results:
Step 1) Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility and Entrance Test’s medical and dental admission, upneet.gov.in
Step 2) Once on the homepage, go to the tab which reads Candidate Service and click on the link which says Allotment Result
Step 3) Select the course for which you had applied for
Step 5) Enter your roll number and application number in the space provided
Step 6) Type the Captcha code and click on submit
Step 7) Download your allotment letter and get a printout for future use
