UP Board Exam Date 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially released the timetable for the 2025 Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board examinations. Both exams are set to begin on February 24, 2025, and will conclude on March 12, 2025.

Examination Schedule and Shifts

The exams will be conducted in two shifts: the morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and the afternoon shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. On the first day, high school students will sit for their Hindi exam in the morning and Healthcare paper in the afternoon. Intermediate students will take the Military Science paper in the morning, followed by the Hindi exam in the afternoon.

A total of 54,38,597 students have registered for the UP board exams this year. This includes 27,40,151 students for Class 10 and 26,98,446 students for Class 12, from over 27,000 UPMSP-affiliated schools.

The number of students registered for the board exams has seen a slight decrease of 86,745 compared to the 2024 UP Board Exams, where 55,25,342 students were registered. Notably, the Class 10 registration has dropped by 2,07,184, while there has been an increase of 1,20,439 candidates applying for the Class 12 exams.

The UPMSP has made adjustments to the number of students allowed at each examination centre. A maximum of 2,000 students will be allowed per centre, an increase from last year’s cap of 1,200, due to the larger capacity of government-aided schools. However, the minimum number of students per examination centre will remain unchanged at 250.
