UP Board Exam 2025 postponed, New date: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has postponed the Class 10 and 12 board exams scheduled for February 24, 2025, due to the ongoing MahaKumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. The revised date for the exams is now set for March 9, 2025.
UP Board 2025 Revised Exam Schedule
According to the UP Board date sheet 2025, the postponed exams include:
- Class 10: Hindi and Healthcare papers
- Class 12: Military Science and Hindi papers
Originally, these exams were scheduled to be conducted in two shifts—8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. However, considering the massive influx of devotees for Mahashivratri on February 26, authorities decided to reschedule the exams to ensure smooth traffic management and safety.
UP Board Exam 2025 New Dates
As per the revised UP Board exam time table 2025, the Class 10 and 12 exams will now commence from February 28, 2025, and continue till March 12, 2025.
Official Statement
In an official notification, the Director of Education (MO) and Chairman of UP Board stated that the decision was taken following a request dated February 18, 2025. The request highlighted concerns over traffic congestion and heavy crowd movement in Prayagraj due to the final holy bath of devotees on February 26.
The MahaKumbh 2025 is expected to draw millions of devotees, making it necessary to reschedule the exams in the interest of students and public safety.
