UP Board Exam Date 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has commenced the Class 10 and 12 board exams today, February 24, with a record 54.37 lakh students appearing across the state. The exams will run from February 24 to March 12 at 8,140 examination centres.
According to officials, 27.32 lakh students are sitting for the Class 10 exams, while 27.05 lakh are appearing for the Class 12 papers. To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, the government has set up a high-tech control room, inaugurated by Minister of State for Secondary Education Gulab Devi. Equipped with 54 computers, this facility will monitor the exams at the state, district, and school levels in real-time.
Authorities have issued strict warnings against cheating, stating that severe action will be taken against students and facilitators involved in malpractice.
Exam Schedule and Guidelines
The UP Board exams are being conducted in two shifts:
- Morning shift: 8:30 am to 11:45 am
- Afternoon shift: 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm
On the first day, Class 10 students will take the Hindi and Healthcare papers, while Class 12 candidates will appear for Hindi and Military Science.
Important Exam Day Instructions
- Arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- Wearing the school uniform is mandatory.
- Students must carry a printed admit card and school ID card; entry will not be allowed without them.
- Sharing stationery is not allowed—students should bring their own pen, pencil, and eraser.
- Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, and Bluetooth devices are prohibited.
- Candidates must maintain silence and follow invigilators’ instructions at all times.
- Unfair means, including talking, whispering, or carrying notes, are strictly banned.
The UP Board exams are known for their tight security measures to prevent cheating, and this year is no exception. With lakhs of students appearing, the board aims to conduct a smooth and transparent examination process.
