The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for the UGC NET June 2024 exam. Candidates who have submitted their applications can make necessary changes on the official website — [ugcnet.nta.ac.in](https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in). The correction window will remain open until May 23, 11:59 pm. To make corrections, candidates must log in using their registration number and password.

Steps to edit UGC NET June 2024 application form:

1. Visit the official website — [ugcnet.nta.ac.in](https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in)

2. Click on the “Correction in particulars of the Online Application Form for UGC NET June 2024” link

3. Enter your registration number and password to log in

4. Edit the necessary fields and save the changes

5. Download the revised form for future reference

Editable fields:

Candidates can edit their date of birth, category, father’s name, and mother’s name. However, changes cannot be made to the candidate’s name, gender, photo, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent and correspondence address, or exam city.

Exam deails:

The UGC NET June 2024 exam will take place on June 18. This exam is essential for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), assistant professor positions in Indian universities and colleges, and PhD program admissions.

Post-correction procedure:

Once the correction window closes, the NTA will issue admit cards via the official website.

UGC NET December 2023 statistics:

In the previous cycle, 9,45,918 candidates registered, and 6,95,928 appeared for the exam held from December 6 to December 14 across 292 cities. Results were announced on January 17.

New update:

UGC Chief M Jagadesh Kumar has announced that from the 2023-24 academic session, UGC NET scores will be used for PhD admissions. Results will be declared in percentiles along with the marks obtained to facilitate PhD admissions.
