The exams witnessed a large turnout, with over 9 lakh students registering for the Class 10 board examination.

In 2024, the Tamil Nadu Board announced the SSLC (Class 10) results on May 10. The board examinations were conducted from March 26 to April 8 that year. The overall pass percentage recorded was 91.55%, marking a slight improvement from 91.39% in 2023.

Out of the 8,94,264 students who appeared for the Class 10 exams in 2024, a significant majority successfully cleared them. Gender-wise, female students outperformed their male counterparts — with a pass percentage of 94.53% compared to 88.58% among boys.

This year, the TN SSLC theory exams were conducted from March 28 to April 15, 2025, while the practical exams were held from February 22 to 28.

The formal announcement of the TN SSLC and HSE+1 results will be made during a press conference at the Prof. Anbazhagan Education Complex on May 16 at 9:00 AM.

Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi confirmed in a post on X that the results for the two mentioned classes for the academic year 2024–25 will be announced on Friday, May 16.

To pass the SSLC Class 10 examinations, students are required to score a minimum of 35 out of 100 marks in each subject. Additionally, they must secure at least 20 marks in the theory component of each paper.

The evaluation process concluded on April 22, following the practical exams held from February 22 to 28.

Students awaiting their class 10 results on May 16 can follow these simple steps to download their provisional marksheets from the official portals:

3. Click on the Results Link
4. Look for and click on the link labeled “SSLC March 2025 Results.”
5. Enter Required Details

7. View and Download the Result
8. Once submitted, your result will appear on the screen.

9. Download and save the marksheet or take a printout for future use.

On May 16, students can access their Tamil Nadu SSLC and HSE +1 results through official websites such as tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.

To ensure timely and convenient access, the results will also be sent via SMS to the registered mobile numbers of the students.

The TN HSE+1 results are expected to be released after 2:00 pm on Friday. The direct link to check the TN Board 11th result 2025 will be activated at tnresults.nic.in

Candidates can also check their scores through the TN SSLC Results app after downloading it from the Android app store. Here are the steps to follow:
