Sree Vidyanikethan International School (SVIS) has established two educational Labs on its campus: CV Raman Club (the Scientific Temperament Club) and the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL). These Labs are aimed at shaping young minds with scientific acumen and an innovative spirit, according to the press release.

Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs), a part of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) initiated by the Government of India, claims to play a crucial role in fostering creativity and innovation among school students. ATLs are equipped with Tinkering Kits containing electronic components and sensors, enabling students to transform their concepts into tangible solutions for real-world problems. One of the key features of ATLs is the presence of resources, including 3D Printers and Drone Systems equipped with Cameras.

Aerial data collection and analysis become accessible, offering students a unique perspective on problem-solving, ex explained in the release.

In addition to these resources, ATLs claims to provide students with access to Computers and Software Tools for tasks like design, coding and simulation. Further it claims to contain a range of essential tools, including soldering irons and multimeters and is available to facilitate project assembly and troubleshooting, the release added.
