Stanford University and Elsevier recently conducted a global analysis, assessing citations and percentile ranks of 2% to identify the top one lakh scientists based on their citation score (c-score). In this year’s survey, six distinguished faculty members from Vadodara’s Parul University were ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide for 2024, selected from a total of 223,153 scientists globally.

This recognition reflects the faculty’s dedication to research and academic excellence, supported by Parul University’s strong research policies.

Among the esteemed scientists from the university this year are Prof. Dr. M.H. Fulekar, an expert in environmental science recognised for his work in sustainable technologies; Dr. Vishal Sorathiya, an electronics engineering specialist noted for his innovations in optoelectronics and photonics; Dr. Mitesh Patel, a microbiologist acknowledged for his research on microbial characteristics; Dr. Pranav Kumar Prabhakar, who specialises in medicinal and biomolecular chemistry and is celebrated for his contributions to understanding type 2 diabetes and metabolic disorders; Dr. Deep Pooja, a pharmaceutical sciences expert known for advancements in drug delivery systems and nanomedicine; and Dr. M.R. Yadav, director of the Research and Development Centre at Parul University, recognized for his expertise in drug design and development.
