PSEB 5th Class Result 2024: The Punjab Secondary Education Board (PSEB) has announced the Class 5th 2024 examination results online. These results can be accessed on the official website, pseb.ac.in. A significant total of 30,64,38 students participated in this year’s PSEB Class 5 exams.

3. Navigate to the designated page.

4. Input your roll number.

5. Log in to access the result.

Pathankot shine with high pass rates

Pathankot district achieved the highest pass rate, reaching an impressive 99.96%. Similarly, last year, Barnala and Tarn Taran districts boasted the highest pass rates, both at 99.86%. Continuing a trend from the previous year, Mohali once again emerged as the district with the lowest pass rate, standing at 99.65%.

Government schools maintain high pass rate

This year, government schools maintained a commendable pass rate of 99.84%. Remarkably, in 2023, government schools produced two of the top three toppers. In the PSEB class 5th exams, a total of 144,653 girl students participated, with 144,454 successfully passing, leading to a pass% age of 99.86%. Similarly, out of 161,767 boys who took the exam, 161,468 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 99.81%.

The Punjab Board class 5 exam 2024 was held offline from March 7 to March 14, 2024, as scheduled. Students who took part in the Punjab Board Class 5th exam can view their results by visiting the official website and providing necessary login credentials such as roll number and date of birth in the result login section.

Last year witnessed an overall pass percentage of 99.69% for PSEB class 5th, a slight increase from 99.62 percent in 2022. In the previous year, girls outperformed boys, securing a pass percentage of 99.74%, while boys achieved an overall passing rate of 99.65%. Transgender students achieved a perfect pass rate of 100%.

The office failed to dispatch Class 5 PSEB board question papers and booklets for differently abled candidates. Moreover, examinations for candidates with exceptional abilities were not organised at the school level.

Class 5 examinations took place on March 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14, with a timing from 10 am to 1:15 pm. These exams were exclusively held at self-examination centres. The official notice from PSEB clarified that question papers or booklets for differently abled candidates won’t be dispatched, and examinations for candidates with exceptional abilities won’t be conducted at the school level.
