Newton School, Bengaluru has entered into a collaboration with MBAtrek, a career development firm. This partnership is geared towards enhancing the innovative and comprehensive approach of Newton School of Technology (NST) in grooming the next generation of tech leaders. The focus is on delivering education that aligns with industry requirements and addresses the crucial demand for both technical expertise and soft skills within the tech sector, according to an official release.
The collaborative effort has resulted in a specially curated joint cohort tailored for students enrolled in NST’s inaugural offline undergraduate programme in Computer Science at Rishihood University, Sonipat, launched earlier this year. The curriculum of this programme delves deeply into various aspects, emphasising communication, management skills, structured thinking, problem-solving and self-development. It presents an opportunity for students to undergo extensive soft skills training with MBAtrek, specifically designed to equip them for success in today’s dynamic industry, therelease mentioned.
“Soft skill training is crucial for any course as it has considerable implications on curving the road ahead for the students. The program aims at instilling entrepreneurial vision and competency in students and is in sync with our larger vision of cultivating entrepreneurial spirits in each and every student,” Nishant Chandra, co-founder, Newton School, said.
Utilising a blend of online modules, live webinars, workshops and in-person coaching sessions, the programme aims to allow students to choose the learning format that best suits their style and schedule. Furthermore, students are believed to gain connections with industry experts, alumni and peers from distinguished companies such as Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ernst and Young, Master Card, Netflix, Uber, Swiggy and Magicbricks through MBAtrek’s community, thereby expanding their professional network.
Furthermore, this collaboration is believed to significantly enrich the existing curriculum of NST’s undergraduate programme in Computer Science, ensuring a well-rounded education experience, as per the release.
