The National Testing Agency has released a notification that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate medical courses will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The examination is going to be held in a single shift on a single day, as per the official notification.

The notification further read that NEET (UG) is for admission to undergraduate courses like BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS in all medical institutions. The notification also confirmed that NEET UG scores will be applicable for admissions under the National Commission for Homeopathy.

In addition, applicants seeking admission to the MNS through the four-year BSc Nursing course offered at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals are required to qualify for NEET UG 2025. The NEET UG scores will be used to shortlist candidates for further selection processes for these courses.

The integration of APAAR ID with NEET UG 2025 has been recently done by the NTA for expediting the process. Candidates are advised to use their APAAR ID along with Aadhaar-based authentication during the application process and the examination process.

The agency has ensured that the applicants update their details in Aadhaar to ensure an easy registration and verification process to enhance the credibility of the examination. Details regarding NEET UG 2025 Registration Process will be announced in due course.
