NEET UG Exam 2024 SC Hearing on Monday, 22 July: All eyes will be on the Supreme Court on Monday, July 22, as the bench will resume the hearing of the NTA NEET UG 2024 petitions. As per the SC’s decision, the NTA on Saturday published the results of all NEET-UG candidates, city-wise and centre-wise, on their website — neet.nta.nic.in.

Meanwhile, it was stated that any decision to re-conduct NEET-UG 2024 exams must be based on clear evidence that the integrity of the entire medical entrance exam was compromised. According to LiveLaw, the counsel informed the SC that the NTA attributed the increase in scores to syllabus reduction, despite fluctuations in syllabus content.

The judges, in the last hearing, also inquired about the distribution of NEET question papers. Questioning the high cost associated with obtaining leaked papers, CJO Chandrachud said that the intention was not to undermine the national importance of NEET but to profit financially. Therefore, those who must be profiting, wouldn’t distribute the papers widely.

The Supreme Court deliberated on two scenarios of the NEET paper leak. CJI said that the leak either occurred before the papers were in bank custody, before May 3. Or it happened after leaving banks en route to centers.
