The conducting body of NEET exams, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), is set to organize a special round of counselling for the National Eligibility Entrance Test, NEET SS 2023. This additional round aims to fill the vacant DM, MCh, and DNB SS seats of All India Quota (AIQ).

To provide clarity on this process, the MCC has outlined the eligibility criteria for the NEET SS counselling 2023 special round, and candidates who have successfully passed the examination are advised to stay updated on the official website, mcc.nic.in, for further information.

In an official notice, the MCC emphasized the importance of preventing the wastage of valuable medical seats, leading to the decision to conduct this special round. The notice also highlighted the option for candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 or Round 2 of All India SS Counselling 2023 to resign without forfeiting their security deposit.

A list of candidates allowed to resign has been provided, and those who reported to their allotted seats through MCC can now retrieve their original certificates from the respective colleges. However, it’s important to note that these candidates won’t be eligible for participation in the Special Round of All India SS Counselling 2023. The vacant seats will be included in the upcoming Special Round.

MCC has instructed institutes to facilitate the online resignation process only for candidates listed in the provided document. It is crucial for a resignation letter to be generated from the intramcc portal; otherwise, it will be considered ‘Null & Void.’ As this process unfolds, candidates are encouraged to stay informed through official channels for any updates or changes.
