NEET 2017: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will release the online counselling round-2 results of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) under graduate (UG) admissions 2017 in deemed/ central universities on August 11, i.e tomorrow. Students who are registered for 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in various medical seats across the country in deemed/ central universities and are eagerly waiting for their result may log on to the official website – mcc.nic.in to check their results, as soon as it has been released. MCC released the results for the first round of NEET 2017 seat allotment on July 14, prior to its scheduled date which was July 15. The round two of the counselling process will end this month after which vacant seats will be transferred to state quota.
The applicants whose names appear in the second list of seat allotment. According to the release issued by MCC, ‘reporting of candidates to the allotted institute is revised from 12/08/2017 to 19/08/2017. Revised schedule for the same will be uploaded soon.’. In some of the colleges two to three days are required to complete the formalities. The candidates are advised to not to wait for the last day and take admissions as early as possible. Out of total 8,248 seats, nearly 4000 seats have been allotted in the first round under 15 per cent all India quota for medical and dental colleges.
Steps to check online counselling round-2 results-
Step 1: Log on to the official website – mcc.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the UG-Meducal councelling tab
Step 3: Now click on the Deemed/ Central Universities tab
Step 4: As you enter the page, click on the link that says, ‘online counseling round-2’ result
Step 5: Enter all the required details in the provided fields and click submit button
Step 6: Download or take a print out of the list that will appear on the screen, for further reference
