The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the commencement of applications for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET 2024), inviting eligible candidates to apply through ncet.samarth.ac.in.
Designed for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in prestigious central/state universities and institutions like IITs, NITs, RIEs, and government colleges for the academic session 2024-25, the exam aims to facilitate the entrance process for aspiring educators.
Candidates have until April 30, 11:30 pm, to submit their applications, with the deadline for fee payment via various online modes also set for April 30 (until 11:50 pm). Moreover, a window for correcting application forms will be available from May 2 to May 4.
Anticipated by the last week of May 2024, the release of exam city information slips will enable candidates to prepare for the examination scheduled for Wednesday, June 12. Admit cards will be issued three days prior to the exam date.
NTA has ensured linguistic diversity by conducting the examination in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and several regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
