Maharashtra SSC Result 2017: Rinku Rajguru, the lead actress in the Marathi blockbuster film Sairat has cleared her Class 10th examination. The actress has managed to secure 66.4 percent marks in her board exams. Rinku became a household name in Maharashtra after the grand success of her film. Rinku has scored 59 marks out of 100 in English. Those who saw the film would remember one of the popular lines spoken by Aachi, the character Rinku plays in the film that goes like this: ‘Did you get it, or should I translate it into English?’ Sairat became the first Marathi film to make over Rs 100 crore and became famous even outside Maharashtra. The story of the film revolves around a teenage inter-caste romance which has a tragic end, as per a PTI report.

Because of her schedule, Rinku only had around a month to prepare for her Class 10 board exam. Rinku told PTI, ”The transition from ‘lights, camera, action’ to ‘physics, chemistry, maths’ was not tough. I only had close to a month and a half to study for the board exams”. Much to the disappointment of media persons and fellow students, Rinku was not able to attend first day of school in the new academic session.
Rinku couldn’t attend the Jijamata Kanya Prashala School, in Akluj, Solapur, and reportedly appeared for SSCE as a private candidate, according to the Indian Express. She had appeared for the exams in Solapur. Before she returned to study, Rinku had been out of town for a couple of months till June of last year for promotional and celebratory events after the release of her film, PTI reported.
