What is the best thing about today’s education system?
The educational landscape has undergone a profound transformation, with learners embracing digital learning as technology integration sparks innovation, revolutionizing the learning journey. Furthermore, the contemporary education system extends dedicated support to learners for their school curriculum fostering a personalized learning environment that transcends traditional boundaries. With subjects like Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking integrated into the curriculum as per NEP 2020, learners are not only prepared for standardised tests but also nurtured to embrace forward-thinking mindsets.
Also, there is a growing recognition of the importance of skill development at a young age. Schools and educators are increasingly prioritising the cultivation of essential skills such as, Logical Thinking, Comprehension, Critical Thinking, Math Aptitude, Problem-Solving, besides traditional academic subjects, that enrich the learning experience and lay a robust foundation for future success of a learner. Education now emphasises skill development to prepare learners for the modern world and excel in standardized tests. Curricula include experiential learning and hands-on activities for practical skill acquisition, ensuring they thrive academically and in testing environments.
What is the one thing you would like to change in the system?
The one crucial change I would advocate in the education system is a comprehensive and concerted effort to bridge the existing learning gap. It’s imperative that we stand firm in our commitment to delivering quality education to everyone, ensuring that no learner is left behind. This requires an unwavering dedication to excellence in teaching and learning practices, as well as equitable access to resources and support systems for all learners. By prioritizing the closing of the learning gap, we can create a more inclusive and equitable education system that empowers every individual to reach their full potential that will ensure “Bachcha Seekha Ki Nahin.”
What is the role digital has played in the evolution of the education system?

What has been the disadvantage of digital in education?
Digital education, bolstered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), has proven to be overwhelmingly advantageous. The integration of AI has been truly transformative, catering to the requirements of both educators and learners. This collaborative effort holds significant importance as it revolutionizes motivation, governance, and pedagogy.
The emergence of AI in education heralds a new era, where personalized learning, adaptive content delivery, and real-time feedback redefine the educational landscape. This paradigm shift empowers educators to customize teaching strategies according to individual needs, paving the way for innovative personalized learning pathways.
However, while AI mentors that cater to each child’s needs are still in their infancy, there is a pressing need for their development.

What is the career advice you would like to give to students?

In the pursuit of aspirations, envision the extraordinary—dream big. Allow ambitions to fuel the academic journey, propelling one beyond conventional boundaries. Focus is the linchpin that transforms dreams into reality. Channel energies purposefully, concentrating on the chosen path amidst life’s myriad distractions.
Importantly, career choices should reflect one’s passion and interests. My personal mantra is, “Do what you want to do, but strive to do your best and aim to be the best at it”. This will ascertain that the chosen career path is not just a means of livelihood, but a journey infused with enthusiasm and purpose.
