In the recently released sector-wise results for the Class 12 board exams, the Aided sector has emerged as the top performer, recording the highest percentage of students qualifying for higher studies.

Out of 1,82,409 candidates in the Aided sector, 1,49,863 students became eligible for higher studies, resulting in a pass percentage of 82.16%. The Government sector followed with a 73.23% eligibility rate, with 1,20,027 of 1,63,904 students qualifying.

In comparison, the Un-Aided sector recorded a pass percentage of 75.91%, with 18,218 out of 23,998 students qualifying for further studies.

A total of 30,145 students secured A+ grades in all subjects. Among them, 22,663 are girls and 7,482 are boys. Breaking it down by streams:

Science: 22,772 students

Humanities: 2,863 students

Commerce: 4,510 students

Additionally, 41 students achieved a perfect score of 1200 out of 1200.

The Technical Stream of the Higher Secondary Course, conducted across 15 technical schools following the Kerala Higher Secondary syllabus, saw 1,481 candidates appear for the March 2025 exam. Out of these, 1,048 students qualified for higher studies, achieving a pass percentage of 70.76%. Notably, 72 candidates secured A+ grades in all subjects.

Out of 1,79,952 boys who appeared for the Class 12 board exam, 1,23,160 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 68.44%.

In the higher secondary March 2025 examination, 56 students appeared from the Kerala Kalamandalam Art Higher Secondary School’s Arts stream. Out of these, 45 students qualified for higher studies, achieving a pass percentage of 80.36%. Notably, 2 candidates secured A+ grades in all subjects.

A total of 57 schools achieved a 100% pass rate, while 46 schools recorded less than 30%. Malappuram district stood out as the top performer, with 4,735 students earning A+ grades in all subjects.

SC students: 19,719 passed out of 34,051 (57.91%)

ST students: 3,047 passed out of 5,055 (60.28%)

OEC students: 6,183 passed out of 8,848 (69.88%)

OBC students: 197,567 passed out of 251,245 (78.64%)

Other category students: 61,878 passed out of 71,443 (86.61%)

The pass percentage for this year is 77.81%, compared to 78.69% last year. The results were calculated by considering the scores from both the first and second years. Additionally, a double valuation system was implemented for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to ensure accuracy.

Ernakulam district has emerged as the top performer in the Kerala Plus Two (Class 12) exams for the 2024–25 academic year, recording an impressive pass percentage of 83.09%.

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will activate the DHSE result links after 4 PM on the official websites — keralaresults.nic.in, dhsekerala.gov.in, pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in, and result.kite.kerala.gov.in.

Students who do not pass the Class 12th exams will be eligible to appear for the Supplementary or Save A Year (SAY) exams. Additionally, those who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking of their answer sheets. Detailed guidelines for both the supplementary exams and rechecking process will be announced by the board following the official declaration of the Class 12th results.

As per past-year trends, 0.88 per cent has dropped from the overall pass-percentage of Class 12 Result Kerala HSE.

A total of 1,96,690 female students have passed the Kerala HSE Class 12 Result 2025. Their pass-percentage stands at 86.65%.

For boys, 1,79,952 male students passed and 68.44% have passed.
