The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur declared the results for JEE Advanced 2025 in the early hours of June 2, ahead of the scheduled time. Although the results were originally set to be released at 10 am, they were made available on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, at 6 am. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their scores by logging in with their application number and date of birth. The final answer key has also been published alongside the results on the same portal.

This year, the JEE Advanced exam was conducted on May 18 in two separate shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Based on feedback from both candidates and academic experts, mathematics was reported to be the most challenging section, while physics and chemistry followed a relatively consistent pattern in terms of difficulty.

How to check JEE Advanced 2025 result

  1. Go to the official JEE Advanced 2025 website: jeeadv.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link for the JEE Advanced result available on the homepage.
  3. Enter your JEE Advanced 2025 roll number, date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format), and your 10-digit registered mobile number. Then click ‘Submit.’
  4. Your result will appear on the screen. Download the scorecard, print it, and keep a hard copy for future use.

Ahead of the result declaration, the response sheets were released on May 22, giving students an opportunity to review their attempts. The provisional answer key followed on May 25 at 10 am, allowing candidates to raise any objections before the final evaluation.

The final scores are calculated as the sum of marks obtained in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. To be featured in the JEE Advanced 2025 rank list, candidates must meet both subject-specific and overall qualifying marks.

Looking back at JEE Advanced 2024, the top ranks were secured by Ved Lahoti and Aditya from the IIT Delhi zone, with scores of 355 and 346, respectively. Among female candidates, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone emerged as the highest scorer, achieving a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 7 with 332 marks out of 360. A total of 180,200 students appeared for both papers last year, of whom 48,248 qualified for admission. The IIT Madras zone registered the highest number of successful candidates at 11,180, followed closely by IIT Delhi with 10,255 and IIT Bombay with 9,480.
