One MoU was signed with Dalhousie University in Canada, while the remaining three were inked with Gifu University in Japan, according to an official statement.
These agreements are set for a five-year period, with the possibility of extension based on mutual understanding. Under the MoU with Dalhousie University, a joint doctoral programme will be initiated, with Ahuja and P Balakrishnan from the Canadian university signing the agreement. The collaboration intends to facilitate student and academic staff exchange programmes, joint research activities, and the sharing of research materials to foster an enriching academic environment conducive to groundbreaking discoveries and excellence.
Furthermore, one of the three MoUs with Gifu University outlines the establishment of an ‘International Joint PhD programme’ over a standard duration of three years. This programme aims to provide doctoral candidates with collective guidance and mentorship from faculty members at both institutions, ensuring rigorous academic standards and innovative research outcomes, as per the statement.
