The E&ICT Academy at IIT Guwahati, in partnership with Imarticus Learning, has introduced a 10-month advanced certificate program in Cybersecurity and Blockchain. This online initiative is designed to equip professionals for India’s growing cybersecurity market, projected to reach $3.5 billion by 2027, with an anticipated CAGR of 8.05%, as per the official announcement.

The programme aims to cater individuals with a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) background and zero to five years of experience, presenting a valuable opportunity for cyber enthusiasts to make a significant impact in the digital security sector, it added.

IIT Guwahati’s E&ICT Academy provides hands-on ethical hacking training in collaboration with EC-Council, a globally recognised cybersecurity organisation. The EC-Council iLabs offer a simulated environment for skill enhancement and a competitive edge, along with guidance to succeed in the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exam.

Furthermore, the Advanced Certificate in Cybersecurity & Blockchain program emphasizes a holistic learning experience. It enables cyber enthusiasts to explore Bug Bounty programs, teaching bug-hunting techniques and tools to identify security vulnerabilities.
