The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension for the submission of the December 2024 Term End Examination forms for both ODL (Open and Distance Learning) and online programmes. Students can now submit their forms without any late fee until October 20. However, if they miss this deadline, they can still submit the form with a late fee of Rs 1100 between October 22 and October 31.
Additionally, IGNOU has extended the deadline for submitting assignments until October 31. This extension applies to all courses, including ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB for the December 2024 Term End Examination (TEE). Students required to submit their assignments in either hard or soft copy have also received this extension.
It’s important to note that the final date to register for the July 2024 session in ODL and online programmes is October 15. The previous registration deadline was September 30. Below are the steps for filling out the fresh admission form:

1. Visit the official IGNOU website – ignou.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the ‘Register Online’ tab and select ‘Fresh Admissions.’
3. Click on the ‘New Registrations’ option.
4. Fill in all the necessary registration details.
5. Create a ‘Username’ and ‘Password.’
6. Complete the form by entering all required information and uploading the requested documents before submitting.
7. Use the login details sent to your email and phone number to log in.
8. Select your desired programme.
9. Submit the registration form.
IGNOU also announced the extension of the registration deadline for the July 2024 Fresh Admission for all programmes on its social media.
