ICAI result May 2025: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the results for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams for May 2025 today. For the first time, all three results will be released on the same day and candidates can access their results online through the official portal: icai.nic.in/caresult12.
CA Foundation result May 2025: Result declaration schedule
- CA Final and Intermediate Results: Available from 2:00 PM, July 6
- CA Foundation Result: Available from 5:00 PM, July 6
Along with the results, ICAI will publish the toppers list for the CA Final and Intermediate exams, as well as the All India Rank (AIR) merit list. The CA Foundation toppers list will not be released by ICAI.

How to check your CA result 2025
To view and download your scorecard, follow these steps:
- Visit the official ICAI result website: icai.nic.in/caresult
- Select the relevant result link: Choose Final, Foundation, or Intermediate Result May 2025
- Enter your credentials: Provide your ICAI roll number and registration number
- Enter the CAPTCHA code as displayed on the page
- Submit and view your result: Click ‘Submit’ to access your scorecard. Download and save a copy for future reference.
CA Foundation result May 2025: Exam structure and passing criteria
- CA Foundation: 4 papers
- CA Intermediate & Final: 6 papers each
- Passing Marks: Minimum 40% in each paper and at least 50% aggregate in each group.
CA Inter results: Pass percentage and exam difficulty
The CA exams are known for their high level of difficulty, resulting in a typically low pass percentage. Historically, the overall pass percentage for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses remains below 25%. Most candidates require multiple attempts to clear each level.
CA Inter results: Next steps for unsuccessful candidates
Candidates who do not clear the May 2025 exams can register for the September 2025 session. Registration opens on July 5 and closes on July 18. The next CA Final exams are scheduled as follows:
- Group I: September 3, 6, and 8
- Group II: September 10, 12, and 14
