ICAI result 2017: Today is D-day for candidates waiting for ICAI CA CPT, CA Final result 2017. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is likely to release the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) examination results along with the CA Final results on January 17 at icaiexam.icai.org. Candidates who appeared for the CPT exam that was conducted in the month of December 2017 and CA final Exam that was conducted in November 2017 can visit the official website to check their scores once the result link has been activated by ICAI. According to reports, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is most likely to declare the CA CPT December 2017 exam results on January 2017 at 2 PM. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website to check whether the results have been declared or not.
At the time when the ICAI result 2017 will be released, after which candidates can check their- CA CPT result, CA final results on the official website, the website might work slow or even crash due to heavy traffic. In such a case, candidates are advised to be calm and check the website again later for their results. In order to check results, candidates need to keep their login credentials that were shared with them at the time of registration handy as they will need the same to check their result.
The official website of ICAI at icai.nic.in currently displays the message- “Result of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in November 2017 and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held in December 2017 are likely to be declared on Wednesday, the 17th January 2018.”

CPT is the first examination which is required to be cleared by the students to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). The CPT 2017 examination will be held in two sessions. In the morning session, the Fundamentals of Accounting and Mercantile Law paper will be conducted. The General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude will start at 2 pm and end at 4 pm. A minimum of 170 questions have to be attempted to pass the exam.
