ICAI CA, CPT Result 2017: Maharastra student Raj Paresh Sheth is the topper of the Chartered Accountants Final examination scoring 78.75 pct. Sheth who hails from Dombivali, Thane was followed by Agathiswaran S from Vellore and Krisha Pawan Gupta from Mumbai. Agathiswaran and Gupta scored 75.25 pct and 75. 13 pct respectively. The three toppers have scored 630, 602 and 601 marks out of 800 respectively. The exam was conducted in May at 372 centers in which 1,32,007 candidates appeared out of which 10,276 qualified after Tuesday’s result. The ICAI also announced the results of Common Proficiency Test (CPT). A total of 88,916 candidates appeared for the CPT, which was conducted in June at 372 centers. Of the aspirants, 39.96 per cent males and 41.23 per cent females cleared the exam. The total pass percentage for the CPT was 40.52 per cent. The results were announced at icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.org. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the official website for scores as soon as the link has been activated by ICAI. The institute has made a provision for candidates according to which they can now get their results directly to their emails.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to link their results to their email IDs:

Step 1: Visit the official website of ICAI at icaiexam.icai.org

Step 2: Now on the homepage, under the login/registration tab, enter your login Id and password, now click Login

Step 3: Once you login to your account, click on link “email registration”

Step 4: Remember- Verify the email id in your login before applying for result on email request

Step 2: Under the announcements sections, click the link that says – CA Finals, CPT Result 2017

Step 3: Once you enter the results page, enter your registration number

Step 4: Press Enter

Step 5: Your results will be displayed on the screen

Step 6: Check it and take a print out of the same for future.
