Manohar Lal Khattar, chief minister of Haryana announces significant developments in the aviation sector, announcing the establishment of a new flight simulator training centre in Gurugram and an Aviation College in Hisar. These initiatives are expected to position Haryana as a hub for aviation training. The Aviation College, affiliated with Guru Jambheshwar University, will offer comprehensive aviation education near Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport, according to an official statement.
Regarding education, CM Khattar outlined the expansion of the NIPUN Haryana Mission to include grades four and five in the academic year 2024-25, aiming to enhance student learning through innovative materials. Additionally, the government initiated the ‘Free Student Transport Security Scheme’ to provide transportation assistance to students living more than one kilometer away from their schools, the statement mentioned.
The State Budget for 2024-25, presented by CM Khattar, amounted to Rs 1,89,876.61 crore, marking an 11.37% increase over the previous year. This budget allocated Rs 1,34,456.36 crore as revenue outlay and Rs 55,420.25 crore as capital outlay, as per the statement.
