The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) announced the Class 12 HSC results this year with an overall pass percentage of 83.51%. Boys performed slightly better with a pass percentage of 83.79%, while girls recorded a pass rate of 83.2%. Notably, 194 schools achieved a perfect 100% result, whereas 34 schools recorded a pass percentage of less than 10%.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has recorded a pass percentage of 93.07% in the Class 12 HSC exams this year, marking a steady improvement over previous years. This figure surpasses last year’s 91.93% and reflects a significant jump from 73.27% in 2023.

To pass the Gujarat Board Class 12 exams, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject and an overall aggregate of 33%. Additionally, they must obtain a minimum grade of ‘D’ in every subject.

In the 2024 General stream exams, 3,78,268 students appeared, and 3,47,738 passed, showing a strong overall performance. The Science stream results were declared on May 9, with a pass percentage of 91.93%, followed by SSC results on May 11.

The results for GSEB Class 12 Science stream, General stream, and GUJCET will be released on the official website – gseb.org. Students are advised to regularly check the site for updates and use their seat numbers to access their individual scorecards once the results are declared.

A detailed circular is being prepared with guidelines on post-result processes like marks verification, name corrections, score rejection, and re-examination options. This will be dispatched to schools along with the results documentation.

To pass the Gujarat Board Class 12 exam, students must score at least 33% in each subject as well as an overall aggregate of 33%. Additionally, they are required to secure a minimum grade of ‘D’ in every subject.

The board has stated that a separate notification regarding the distribution of marksheets, certificates, and School Register (SR) documents will be issued soon. Schools will be informed once these documents are ready for collection.
