Sandeep Srivastava, Director of Product – Agentic AI at Microsoft, has publicly criticized FIITJEE for what he alleges is systemic mismanagement, poor digital infrastructure, and serious breaches of data privacy. In a strongly worded LinkedIn post, Srivastava detailed his own experience with the coaching institute, warning parents not to fall for what he called “resurrection propaganda.”

“In short, DO NOT FALL FOR FIITJEE. I lost ₹71,000, you can save yours,” Srivastava wrote, claiming that despite paying in advance and following up for five months, not a single class was conducted for his daughter.

He described the state of FIITJEE’s online platform as “incapable of delivering quality lectures as per a plan” and alleged that the academic office lacks accountability with constant churn in teaching and support staff. According to him, the digital infrastructure is “non-existent,” with classes recorded on phones and delivered via chalk-and-board teaching methods.

He further alleged that FIITJEE’s helpline is unresponsive, communication is often erroneous or absent, and that promised schedules are repeatedly missed or altered without notice. “They make promises they don’t keep. They keep cancelling calls with parents, scheduled class start dates,” he said.

One of the most serious allegations Srivastava raised was regarding data privacy. “Worst of all, they also leak out all your personal information and that of your kid to their competition… Their staff is selling it for money,” he wrote, adding that since enrolling with FIITJEE, he has been contacted by multiple rival coaching institutes including Allen, Vedantu, and Narayana.

After failing to get a refund for the Rs 71,000 he paid in advance, Srivastava stated that he has taken legal action. “I am now pursuing them in consumer court,” he said, urging the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to investigate FIITJEE’s operations and “curb the menace of cheating and fraud.”

He also noted that he is not alone, claiming to have heard “similar stories from other parents.”

At the time of writing, FIITJEE has not issued any official response to the allegations.
