Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has laid the foundation stone for a major Educational and Medical Complex at Rajeshwarpalli in Sironcha taluka, Gadchiroli district. The Rs 1,468-crore project will be built on 264 acres and aims to bring world-class healthcare and education to one of Maharashtra’s most backward regions.

“This foundation marks the beginning of a new phase of development, ensuring healthcare, education and jobs reach every corner of Maharashtra” CM Fadnavis said.

The project is being developed through a collaboration between the Maharashtra government and industrialist Shri Rana Suryawanshi, Director of Rana Shipping Company. It will include a 350-bed multi-specialty hospital, a medical college and institutes for engineering, dentistry and nursing. Ruby Hospital and Wellness Pvt. Ltd. will manage the entire complex.

The complex aims to serve nearby areas of Telangana and Chhattisgarh as well. It will save residents from traveling long distances to big cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, or Hyderabad for medical or educational needs. The project is expected to make Gadchiroli a regional growth center.

CM Fadnavis also announced plans to develop Gadchiroli as a Green Steel Hub, which will further boost employment and industrial growth in the area.
