Delhi University (DU) has released the schedule for the upcoming rounds of allocations and admissions for undergraduate programs under CSAS (UG) 2024-25.
According to the official timeline, the upgrade window will be open from 5 PM on August 31 until 5 PM on September 1. The results of the upgraded allocations will be announced at 5 PM on September 3, and candidates will have until September 4 to accept their offers.
During the upgrade window, candidates who were admitted in Round I and Round II can opt for upgradation to their higher preferences. Those who choose the ‘Upgrade’ option can also reorder the program and college combinations that were higher on their preference list than the currently allocated one.
Candidates who receive an upgraded seat at Delhi University will have their allocation directly processed at the college level. If there is a difference in fees, they will need to pay the balance. The admission to the upgraded seat will only be finalised upon successful payment of the admission fees.
Vacant seats for the mid-entry process will be displayed on September 7, and candidates can apply until September 9.
The mid-entry window, open from 5 PM on Saturday, September 7 to 4:59 PM on Monday, September 9, allows candidates who either missed applying in CSAS (UG) 2024 Phase-I or didn’t complete Phase-II to participate by paying a non-refundable Mid-Entry fee of Rs 1000.
Candidates who were rejected in Round I or Round II due to incorrect subject mapping or failure to meet program-specific eligibility can also correct their subject mapping and edit their preferences during the mid-entry period. Additionally, candidates not admitted to any program after the Mid-Entry allocations will be able to adjust their preferences during the same timeframe.
Candidates who wish to be considered in the third round are advised to carefully review the vacant seat matrix and make their preferences accordingly. The preferences submitted by 4:59 PM on September 9 will be used for the subsequent allocations. It’s important to note that the cut-offs and ranks for the third round will not be related to those from earlier rounds.
