The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce the official result date for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025.
Students who appeared for the exam, conducted from May 13 to June 4, will be able to access their scorecards on the official website — cuet.nta.nic.in — once results are released.
Over 13.5 lakh candidates await results
This year, a total of 13,54,699 candidates applied for CUET UG, making it one of the largest entrance tests in the country. Along with the results, NTA will also publish the final answer key.
The CUET UG 2025 results will be based solely on this final answer key, and no grievances related to the answer keys will be entertained after the result is declared.
The provisional answer keys were released on June 17, and candidates had time until June 20 to raise objections.
Following the result declaration, each participating university, institute, or organisation will prepare its own merit list. Based on CUET UG 2025 scores, institutions will conduct their own counselling processes for undergraduate admissions.
How to check CUET UG 2025 result
Once released, students will be able to check CUET UG 2025 result by following the below mentioned steps:
- Visit the official CUET website: cuet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the link labeled ‘CUET UG 2025 Scorecard’
- Enter your application number and password
- Your scorecard will appear on the screen — download the PDF and save it for future reference
Revised exam pattern implemented this year
CUET UG 2025 came with several major changes. The exam was held in computer-based (CBT) mode and structured into three sections:
- Section 1: Included 13 language options
- Section 2: Covered 23 domain-specific subjects
- Section 3: Featured a general aptitude test
All sections comprised objective-type multiple-choice questions. Notably, the accountancy question paper pattern was revised to align better with the syllabus and ensure consistency in assessment standards.
In 2024, CUET UG was held in a hybrid mode (both CBT and pen-paper) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, and 24 for around 13.48 lakh candidates. The result was declared on July 28.
In comparison, the 2023 result was declared on July 15, with exams conducted between May 21 and June 3. In its debut year, CUET UG 2022 results were released on September 15, for exams conducted from July 15 to August 20.
