CMAT 2026 registrations: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the CMAT 2026 registration process today, November 24. Candidates who wish to apply for the Common Management Admission Test can access the registration link on the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in.

The deadline for successful payment of the application fee is November 25. After that, NTA will open a correction window from November 26 to November 28, allowing candidates to make changes to their application forms.

Exam pattern and marking scheme

The CMAT 2026 exam will include 100 questions for a total of 400 marks. The paper will be conducted only in English. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response. No marks will be awarded for questions left unanswered.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Students in their final year of graduation can also apply, provided their results are declared before the admission process for the 2026–27 academic year begins.

How to Register for CMAT 2026

By following the below mentioned steps, students can easily apply for examination:

-Go to the official CMAT website – cmat.nta.nic.in.

-Click on the “CMAT 2026 Registration” link on the homepage.

-Enter your registration details on the new page that opens.

-After registering, log in to your account.

-Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.

-Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

-Keep a printed copy for future reference.

The application fee is Rs 2,500 for general male candidates. For general female candidates, candidates from Gen-EWS, SC, ST, PwD, PwBD, OBC-NCL categories, and third-gender applicants, the fee is Rs 1,250. The payment can only be made online.

CMAT 2026 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode and will run for three hours. The exam will assess candidates across five areas – Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. These scores will be used for admission to management programmes for the 2026-27 academic session.
